Home/The shop

The shop on Old State Road.

Three people, a CNC table and a lot of aluminum, in Crisfield.

Not just your basic welder.

Kevin runs Marshall’s Welding & Fabrication with two men in the shop. “We’re a fabrication company. We do marine, mostly marine fabrications.” New hulls, fuel tanks, brackets and T-tops go out the door, and so do repairs, because, as he says, when people can’t afford a new boat, they fix what they got.

The work travels. A tank or a top built here can end up anywhere a boat can go, and Kevin’s count runs from South Africa to Alaska.
